Lions and Tigers and Bears....and FF.net police....Oh my!!!
I'm sure that by now you have all heard about the fucked up shit that's been going on in the land of Fan Fiction lately. People are up in arms, stay at home moms are throwing in the dish towel, single women are scurrying to their computers trying to get the 'smut' saved before it's all gone, and the Cougars of the world are clicking their tongues to the roof of their mouths, waiting to get their hands on the little pests responsible for messing with the fics they love so much. What the hell is the world of Fan Fiction coming to?
Not so recently, in a land far, far away, their was this group that invaded the land of FF. Actually they invaded the land of FF.net. I wouldn't call them nice, nor would I call them one with the fandom. What I will call them is very effective. Extremely effective to the nth degree.
This 'band of people' has effectively read, reviewed, and reported widely loved fics to FF.net, getting them removed. This act has also caused some authors to have their accounts frozen and fics wiped out. Readers alike have been stunned by this action, and have been at a loss.
What fandom(s) is this affecting you ask?
Well, thanks to some dedicated FF supporters and authors, we borrowed
this little screen cap to show you all!
Now, from our perspective, THAT'S A LOT OF DAMN FICS BEING PULLED!
*excuses self for the over dramatizing*
Now, we all know that all websites have T.O.S. that every user needs to abide by. Right? Right. Well,
it seems that many have violated those T.O.S. by posting fics on FF.net that are in violation. Now I know that some of you might be saying, "Well, what about Freedom of Speech?" Yes. I understand that. I also live by the right to speak and write whatever my heart desires, and at the same time I also understand that violating a websites T.O.S. could get ya nothing but the boot. Even myself.
With that said, let me vent about what does fucking piss me off about the entire situation. Authors, I don't care if they are famous or just write FF, take valuable time out of their day to write stories for people to get lost in and enjoy. Sure, famous authors make money, more power to them, congratulations, and all that hoopla. Well, FF authors DO NOT make money writing these beloved fics that readers from all over the world enjoy so much, well, except the ones that have done the whole P2P. Some are stay-at-home mothers, single women with vivid imaginations,Cougars with a taste for tall, handsome, sparkly men with crooked grins. Bottom line...we are a strong, diverse fandom. We are made up of millions that share a love and passion for FanFiction.

So we thought that we'd fill your Hump Day with some delicious news and ramblings!
Recently we learned of a new, short literary piece that is blazing a hot trail through the land of internet books sites. It is said to be so hot that it has some readers left aching for more.
I'm sure some of you are sitting back in the comforts of your home wondering, "Hmm, really?" And we are going to answer you with a, "YES! REALLY!"
Now I must admit that I haven't read this little bitty myself, so I'm going by word of mouth that this story is going to ignite some panties, and make the sex lives of many very, very productive.

It's Magical And Sexy, And Delicious.
& Then It's Not. The Angst Comes In, But Not For Too Long. It's Nothing Horrible Or Heart Clenching. Fiona Fresh1 Has A Way To Make Even Angst Funny. She's Pretty Spectacular, Not Gonna Lie. So, I've Already Given Away Most Of The Beginning Of The Story. I'm Rambling, And Probably Jumping All Over The Place, Because, Lets Face It. I Suck, And Get Excited And Just Jump From Place To Place. (See, I'm Rambling And Being Dumb Now)
ANYWHOOOO. This Story Is Hilarious, And Sexy, And Just Plain Awesome. It Definitely Doesn't Have As Many Reviews As It Should. Also, Most Of The Chapters Aren't Beta'd, But Fiona Fresh1 And I Are Working On That To Get It All Straightened Out, So She "Doesn't Look Lame" Her Words, Not Mine. Haha. Life on the farm was all Bella Swan ever knew … until one day a copper topped stranger showed up at Cullen Poultry and ruffled more than just a few feathers. AH/AU One Shot
Where to start with this one?
Okay...I know!
It was fucking hilarious! This fic had me busting up from start to finish. I mean, who thinks this stuff up?
Apparently Tropical Sorbet did!
I first head about this story when I was doing an internet search on TwiFics, and just so happened to click on the photos. Well, a banner of Plucked showed up and, from the look of the banner, I knew I had to check it out! So I searched the fic name and BLAM! there it was on FF.net!
I decided to venture into the world of Plucked last night and about spit my Mt. Dew everywhere with the first few lines!
Here's a little excerpt...
"Are you alright?" He asked scratching the back of his messy hair.
I nodded. "Yes, thank you. There are signs," I babbled shyly.
"Signs?" He questioned and I nodded again. "What are you some sort of new age, psychic chick?"
I had no idea what he was talking about. We stood there looking at each other with equally confused faces. Just as I was about to mumble a fast good-bye and run off the front door swung open, my boss quickly made his way to my side.
"Bella are you alright? I've never seen you look so pale." Mr. Cullen's concerned eyes darted over to the stranger. "What happened?"
"Fuck if I know," he said in exasperation. "I was just standing here when she came walking up to me talking about forbidden signs and shit. Then she threw an apple in the air and ran in circles breathing into a paper bag."
Just the thought of someone running around in circles, going nuts had me rolling!
"So Bella, what do you do for fun around here when you're…not getting high?" He moved in closer to me.
"Lot of things," I managed to squeak out, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear. "I've been knitting scarf and hat sets all year for the big craft fair next week." I bit down on my lip in contemplation.
"I said fun," he backed away slightly. "Not grandmother training," his eyes lit up as he smiled. "What do you do for excitement?"
"Oh, um..." I placed my glass down on the table beside me, "I don't really like excitement."
Looking at him through my lashes was a huge mistake because I noticed his lips were the most brilliant shade of red. I wasn't a fan of red, it was so flashy, but I was reconsidering that as I watched his mouth move.
"Stop fucking with me," his hand reached out and stilled my bouncing knee. "Tell me something you do with passion. Just say the first thing that comes to mind."
"I sex chickens," I bragged shamelessly. "But I get paid for that. Honestly, I love it so much I'd sex them for free."
And those last lines up there had me friggen cracking up!
So, as the story progresses, Bella and Edward do some 'sexing' of their own, and boy does it get steamy! So if you're looking for a fic, that has it all, hot ass bronze haired guys, farm girls, and sexing chickens, then this is the fic for you!
BTW! Chicken sexing is a real process! Seriously...o-0
